Long wigs are absolutely gorgeous. They make you feel like a world class cosplayer. But due to the elements such as winds, direct sunlight, and transportation; the wigs go from sleek and beautiful to a ratty matted mess!

Liquid fabric softener does wonders! If you know how to use it properly. What you'll need is the following:

• 3-4 cap fulls of Liquid fabric softener (Depending on how long the wig is)
• 5-6 cups of lukewarm-warm water
• A bucket/tub/basin
• Long wig
• A large towel or two
• A comb or wig brush
• A straightening iron with adjustable settings.

Depends on your definition of "Low Quality"

But you might need to lower the water temp so that the wig fibers dont melt

you'll want to wash the wig, dry, and comb the wig first. Comb it out as much as possible so that there arent any tangles in it and then it should work

I dont know if this will work on a cheap halloween wig because the fiber quality is so poor
